Office Admin Manager
Symmetrix Software is a quiet (kind of introverted) and stable (low employee turnover) environment that empowers our employees to succeed.
We are currently replacing a key resource that performed the duties listed below (and more) for the last 28+ years. Our goal is to find a candidate that requires little training, much of which will be supplied by the outgoing Office Manager, and can hit the ground running quickly.
Symmetrix is open to part-time employment with flexible hours and the ability to occasionally work from home for this position.
The right candidate must have experience working within and managing the day to day accounting and HR functions for a small business. Attention to detail and ability to stay self-motivated are key.
Gather and organize financial information for delivery to accountant and to internal senior management
Payroll and benefits administration
Managing all banking activities and accounts payable and receivable
HR Admin, particularly with incoming and outgoing employees (not often)
Answering general phone line to office (doesn’t ring often)
Vendor and building maintenance communication (limited)
Additional Opportunities depending on abilities/interests
Benefits oversight and option analysis (401k, health, life and disability insurance)
Billing oversight to ensure the happiest clients in the most profitable way possible
