Symmetrix Software, Inc. has a wide variety of professional experience.

Software development takes on many aspects beyond programming, and Symmetrix has the capability to take an active role in these areas as well. Project management, system design, installation, documentation, and customer technical support are all critical components in a successful software venture.

Our development history spans a broad range of projects, from simple sales tools to one of the most sophisticated constraint-based product configuration engines in existence today. With the addition of our own hierarchical, shared-object database, we can successfully create frameworks that allow component applications to integrate seamlessly beyond what is practical with other techniques. Applications have included traditional business systems, sales software tools, and engineering systems dealing with warehousing and distribution, factory automation, and electrical panel design.

In recent years, Symmetrix has focused its efforts on the development of software for the Microsoft® Windows® family of operating systems. Our primary development is concentrated in Visual C++® and Java, allowing us to fully unleash the power of current desktop technology and extend it to the Web. Our experience in the Windows® arena includes full utilization of ODBC, Component Objects, and various other connective strategies.

The Symmetrix team has Professional membership in the Microsoft® Developer Network (MSDN) which insures that the most current information is available in the highly technical and rapidly changing field of software development.
